As a former resident of Kyrgyzstan, I have first hand knowledge of the water system in Central Asia. I am interested in the relationship between growing water scarcity and tensions among the inhabitants in Ferghana Valley, a unique region now divided up among three nations.
Now I am a Research Assistant at Carr Center. My research interests include international and domestic water law, conflict resolution surrounding water issues in Central Asia, and correlation between water scarcity and mobility. I also work with the Violence Against Women initiative at Carr Center.
